Seeing what we see…

And he (Jesus) said to them in reply, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard.” – Luke 7:22

Jesus told the followers of John the Baptist that, through him (Jesus), the blind see, the crippled walk, the deaf hear, lepers are cleansed, the dead are raised, and the poor hear the good news of God’s saving grace. Jesus’ life and actions testify that he is the Savior. There are many ways people can be blind, crippled, deaf, dead, unclean, or poor. Jesus calls us to live a life that gives testimony to the presence of God, who brings healing to the world.

Jesus present risenness -the very resurrected life of Christ- is displayed in us as we follow Him each moment…

So ask today…

In what ways are you in need of the healing grace of Jesus?

And pray…

Lord, heal those things in me that keep others from discovering your presence.
